Hi man, i was wondering whether you like how Eibach springs make the car ride compared to before that. I was thinking of this mod myself but didn't know of anyone who has them on their gti until now.
-
I'd say slightly harder but not too hard. I still have the standard shocks but others have changed theirs. Great round corners as there is less roll. I have to be slightly careful with speed-bumps when the car is full - but that might just be the mud flaps.

And the Winner is....
Correct Answer!!

I was also thinking of the eibach sports springs, how much does it lower the car? Thanks
-
about 20-30mm i think.....Ive also been looking at a pair.
-
I chose H&R springs for my GTD which uses the same springs a GTI.
I think they sit perfect and with a comfortable ride.

Axle spacers
Seat height adjusters
Fart (clutch rest) pedal cover
Alloy tank caps
Hatchbag boot liner
Decent tax disc holder
All of which are minor compared to huge mods but all can be removed and either sold on or used in another Golf.
-
Dont forget a BCS Powervlve pipe
Cheers

Marshy, have you had your vancouvers painted?
-
Yeah had them powder coated and coloured shadow chrome.
They change from light silver to almost anthracite depending on light.
The original diamond cut finish had corrosion on the edges.
I prefer the new finish now though.

They look great! I have them on my white GTD, they would look great in anthracite

The front wheel in my pic kind of shows the 2 different colours depending in light.
Nice and perfect job but expensive.
-
Lose the mud flaps. They look awful!
-
They were already fitted when I bought it but seem to save stone chips up the doors.
I don't have any!
-
keep them on
10k miles and not a single stone chip or mark on the side of my car. fitted these the day i got the car and look fine IMO and really save the paintwork

17000 miles and not one stone chip & no flaps.

I second that, apart from that looks sweet!
-
Yeah, lose the mudflaps, they ruin the 'line' of the wheel arch.
Nice alloys
