Personally I like it? Opinions
-
Liked the old wheels, bit new wheels look pretty sick! What are they?
-
I think I preferred your old wheels.
At least you had the decency not to fit stupidly wide rears and have all that scene poke, tuck & stretch bollox going on!
-
I like the first set, but also quite like the new set too though not sure how long this would last.
Can I see the Merc badge in the centre caps ?
Red
-
Mercedes-Benz Golf?
Personally, I prefer the originals. The new ones would look better without the Benz centre caps.
-
Mercedes Alphards
-
Much prefer the originals, sorry...
-
Sorry not to my taste.
-
love alphards . one of my favourite wheels after helios
-
Prefer the old ones, but it's good to go for a different look
-
Have to agree with booth 11
-
Mercs for show, BBS for go! :) I like them both but i hate it when the centre caps are the wrong manufacturer.
-
I still have my bbs in the garage.
There mercedes alphards from the sl600
I still need to get some spacers to bring the rears out a bit
And sort my camber out.

It's okay I've still got my 9.5j rears with the 215/35s on them

Well it could be the idea of taking such a sweet chassis and killing it by fitting stupidly wide rear wheels.
Why does a FWD hatchback need 9.5" wide rear wheels again?
Aren't the rears just casters?
It could be the fact that having alloy sticking out past the arches is dangerous and looks retarded?
Or it could be the fact that such stupidly wide wheels run with the 'scene queen' tyres stretched to the point of them being dangerous...and personally, I'd rather not be sharing the road with cars who's rear tyres are likely to shred/blow out with no warning.
Maybe it's all 3?
But I'm also glad my car disgusts you
It doesn't.
You car is lovely.
A red GTI always hits the spot.
Just not when buggered up by the fitting of silly wheels.
Whatever lights your ring though
-
Well ill throw a spanner into the works about everyone being negative and I love them wheels, think they look epic, agree about putting stupidly wide wheels but would happily have them for mine.
Great stance, dont change it and end up going slamming it on air ride!!

Don't hold back now but I agree
