Can you get the bulb/LED and replace it. Or do you just replace the unit?
If so are the abs and airbag units all the same? It's for a obd1 vr6
-
Just swap the whole light unit, they cost sod all.
-
My ask someone on here.
Are they all the same?
-
Never seen any, any different!
-
The only difference are airbag light or no airbag light. The connectors are 100% the same.
-
Pretty sure the leds can be changed as I think they fit the same as the window switches.
Easier just to change the whole unit though.
-
There are several combinations of the functions depending on the car spec. ABS, Airbag, towing indicators and some foreign ones have seat belt warning.
-
Sweet cheers for that. Ill ask someone on here for abs and airbag unit.
-
I bought another unit a desoldered the bulb out of it its so easy i rekon u should get a led bulb from maplins or someone and solder it in
-
Are are 100% all not the same connection...
Early and late spec I think.
Ive got loads here too
-
Look for the ones on ebay that have the same part number
-
As said easier to replace the unit mine had burnt out i found one cheap on e-bay and it was the same part number
-
You can't replace the bulb, it's soldered in. Like everyone else, just replace the unit itself. Cheap enough and piece of piss to do. Just make sure when looking that you get one with ABS and airbag indicators.

That's what soldering irons are for
Yeah I'm going to replace the whole thing

Yeah but if you're like me being a complete spacker, then a soldering iron will only do more damage than good.
