can anyone tell me if a agu can get Launch Control and traction control
-
Don't think you can have traction control.
Niki did mention he was working on launch for AGU a while ago I think, the other way is a WOTBOX although it seems the general consensus on these is that you need your rods doing to manage.

thanks would like to know more if the aum can handle the Launch Control would the agu not be ok to thought the agu had stronger rods and pistons

Rods are the same
Pistons are forged but don't make a difference really unless your chasing past 400bhp
BUt either way its not these that are the problem, the Agu is me3.8 ecu with cabe throttle whereas the aum etc are me7.5 ecu which are drivebywire therefor the revs can be controlled using the ecu eg launch control

AGU is pretty 'dumb' ecu.
Just learn to drive your car properly and you will minimise wheelspin. Throttle isnt a on/off switch. I could launch 250bhp AGU k03s without wheelspin slamming it into 2nd from 1st full throttle.
All down to map and how well you can drive.....and tyres.

Rods are not the same. AGU has same rods as 210/225 engines, other 150/180 bhp engines don't.
You are correct about the ECU's though ;-)

The wrist pin is 20mm yes unlike the aum but for all intensive purposes they are the same as they will all bend about the same sort of power. The 20mm wrist pin rods are no stronger than the 19mm ones.
