I have some discs that I need to convert from what I think is Blu-Ray (can play on a PS3 but not a standard DVD player (possibly M2TS files, but can't quite remember as am at work)) to a format which can be burnt and used on a standard DVD player. I do not have a Blu-Ray reader/writer on my laptop.
Is this possible?
What program should I be using?
DVD decrypter etc... doesn't seem to want to know.
Any ideas? Cheers.

you need the following;
blu-ray reader to read the files
ripping software e.g. anydvd hd
encoding software e.g. staxrip, handbrake, badaboom
dvd burner to burn to dvd
Basically you need to buy either a blu-ray drive and go from there as no amount of software is going to let your DVD drive read from a blu-ray disc.

If you can see the files then it would imply you've got a blu-ray drive, what are the actual files and what do you actually want to play them on in the end?
