Title: Where do i put the manual choke lead for my weber?

just wondering if there's an ideal place to put it? or do i just drill holes and out it where i like?

Theres a small cover plate on the Mk2 dashboard which you remove to mount it on the dash.  On a RHD car it is on the dash below the left indicator stalk.

There was already a hole on mine for the cable to go through, with a small grommet in place, kind of directly aobve the steering UJ in the engine bay.
