Post by: asboGTI on 16 April 2013, 19:41
has anyone got any data for there frotn mounts i know Rio has but i am after:

inlet temps
Core size

any heat soaking issues

trying to find a a FMIC for mine but trying to do it without losing my aircon for the stealthy look.

Me and Rio have practically the same setup, unless you plan to change the standard bumper, there ain't no way to hide them pipes

I like to see you watch what you say about my bumper!!

You'll have to go with forge or ths if you don't wanna be chopping... If you go with smaller inlet/outlets I don't think it will solve the issue because aswell as me cutting the recess back so the mesh sits forward (as far forward like standard) I still had to cut about 1" for the pipe....  So core inlets would have to be about 2" and that's not great... Min of 2.5" is wanted

thinking about that small it would get heat soaked way to easy with that small pipping cause the core would be tiny and i spending that kinda money on a small front mount just because of the name so looks like i will going eBay special then

I think my setup is better, because I have the K04 charge pipe and inlet manifold (TB on passenger side)
waits for Rio's response
