Title: any one done mk6 boot badge on here

as above guys as any one done this mod an i have done some research and some people say you need to take all assemble off and some say you can prise off badge and send and put new badge on any one done this mod either way

You mean fit the reverse camera?  :huh:  otherwise i always thought they were the same anyway  :undecided:

Yes you need to remove one of the lugs holding the rear wiper motor on and also some metal too

"VW" logos from MK6 fit Mk5 if a bit tight I actually snapped my oem chrome mk6 badge and bought an ebay HK one for £8(black) Nice and shiny
 Only did it because of the bevel :grin: :grin:
 EDIT didn't think you meant camera in which case this post is bollox :rolleyes:

no i mean my rear badge as got white worm and want to sort it out didnt no if i could could prise badge cover of and just put the mk6 badge on or do i have to put whole asemmble in are they a direct swap

You need to take the whole assembly off. Easy enough, boot trim off - wiper off/moved out of the way - 3 torx holding the badge on - remove badge....reverse for refitting.
