Title: Mk 4 Passenger airbag

Hi, Does anyone no how to deactivate passenger airbag on a mk4 golf??

thanks in advance for any advise

Look in the VAGCOM section.

You will need VAGCOM for sure or maybe cut a few wires. Why would you want to, may I ask?

Good guess lol. just bought a 3 door gt tdi and was thinking its easier to put child seat in front but really could do with air bag turning off.

Vag.com??? seen them for sale on ebay, what should i buy??

im guessin cheap nasty ones dont do very much?? 

what should i buy and at what sort of price?

Not to scare you but I had a conversation with Ewe from VagCom, he says he can not guarantee that the adaption does turn off the airbag in the event of a crash.
