Title: porsche brakes on mk6 golf gti..

i have a friend who knows someone selling a set of porsche boxter sport breaks he run on his skoda octavia, does anybody know if these are a guarantee fit on my car? as the octavia had the fitment of 5x112 same as my car??

they will fit and work with stock 312 disks but you will need to run spacers if you have oem wheels, i ran these on my scirocco and have a set coming back from a refurb, excellent up grade and plenty of pad choice available

Do you have to change the brake lines or anything else or do they just fit direct onto the existing mounting points?

You need adapters and new brake lines, pads etc, the link to the thread does contain all the information. I know it is quite long, but most of what you need to know is in the first few pages.
The rest is interesting and worth reading, if you want to do this.
