So I put my nut optic trim in and my new knob. I am changing the gear knob cause I ain't happy with it :embarrassed: (before anyone says once the pics re up). but that's not my only problem I kinda busted the side bits on my radio cage so my questions are:
Best place to get a new radio cage?
How long will it take to do?
How hard to change a radio cage?
-
Do you mean you snapped the clips the side trim goes on ?
-
Yep that's exactly what I mean it's so frustrating
-
Couple of dabs of super glue behind enough to hold it but not too much you cant get it off and just hold them on with some masking tape untill dry .... If you buy a new one its a ball ache to change and the chances are you will do it again eventually !

I'd be sanding it down to the aluminum underneath personally
-
looks decent as is
anything is better than the wooden trim
-
what made you pick that knob??
-
thought it tied in with the net optic trim dw the knob is gonna get changed and i didnt wanna do brushed ali as its too common
-
that brushed optic looks fantastic i cant wait to get rid of my woodern trim !!
-
Just keep checking eBay there's always something on there you don't expect
-
its a pig of a job, have to remove all your trim from the front, thats glove box, under the glove box, side bit on either side of the main center, under steering panels, side panels on passenger and drivers and in some case the plastic trim around the gear knob, next time i do mine its because im getting a special jobby done in hydro dipping
