as above i was thinking of getting some spark plugs and leads for my vr6 and wondered what people were running, should i just stick with bosh or go for something different?
it looks like theyve never been changed :undecided:
will £100 get me something decent?

Stick with the OEM parts and you won't go wrong.

I've seen the red type leads to match the colour of my car dam must stop myself :nerd:
they are £130 so to much really.
i'll go with standard plugs then, the leads still unsure is it really worth the price for a colour match under the hood :undecided:
does anyone know the standard plug i need? i'm at work today and will pop to shelfords later.

Those magnacore leads will last along time longer than oem but leads dont cost that much if you wanna spend money on plugs i just stick ngk in mine but u can get iraduim plugs which are better then platinum but its up to you

Too much money. Maybe last longer but will not improve performance. Beru HT leads are good and at a
fraction of the cost, £47. As for spark plugs I use standard NGK

i agree about the leeds if i had money to burn i would get them and the plugs but i dont so ngk standards get my vote there not that expensive

Standard plugs and leads will be fine

I am a big fan of NGK plugs but If you want to save a few ££ there's nothing wrong with the o.e beru (ecp sell them at low prices)
-
Well the NGk seem to be the cheapest round here and never really had a problem with them. Used to love Bosch super 4's but had a bad experience with one burning and fusing into an old rs turbo head and have t used them since. I would always say that even though they are supposed to be use from the box check the gap as some can be way out.

im using a set of denso twin tip plugs and they seem good
