Hey guys.
Just looking for an opinion or suggestion
I'll be deleting the black plastic sunken reg plate housing from the tailgate of my mk3 wagon, and was planning on embeding the housing panel into the bumper.
It looksas if the bumpers no where near deep enough to take the housing so I'm having to think of a plan B
I don't want to just scrw it to the bumper, so has anyone got a nice alternative that dosent look s@#t, and has like a factory feel to it?
May even use a slightly smaller reg plate
Cheers

I am sure the bumper is deep enough, might be worth checking as any other way tends to look cack.

you could use a shallower reg plate recess from another bumper/car
-
I mean depth downwards btw guys, not depth into the bumper toward behind the actual bumper
Cheers
The bumper seemto be about 8" from top to bottom before it slopes inwards, and the reg housing is a lot bigger frm top to bottom

Can you not section the No plate plinth?

Top idea that mate. That'll work. Take an inch ut top to bottom, and an inch or so out side to side,
Cover up the cut marks, put. A reg in to fit the new size gap perfectly,
Jobs a good-un
Cheers
Anyone else got any sugestions please?
