If you have, i just want to compare notes, as i have a problem programing it using the feature select option and want to see if i am doing it wrong or there is a fault somewhere!
-
I have on mine. Not sure how to use. May just get it ripped out and get another installed.
What are they like anyway?
-
It seems really good, no false alarms or anything like that!
here is the owners manual if you don't have one - http://www.clifford.com/guides/ogs/concept50uk_owners.pdf
The problem i have is that i don't have a cherp sound, there is an option to disable this, but when i try and turn it back on it does not seem to work!
If you your vallet code (you should) this is what you do:
enter vallet code (e.g 1-2-3) -
Flip latch down once
flip it up and back to center
Flip latch down twice
flip it up and back to center
Flip latch down three times
flip it up
(you are now in your vallet mode/ alarm disabled)
imediaetly hold down the switch for 3 secs and release and you should be in feature select mode.
hit the switch 5 times down and this should turn the cherps on or off!
does it work for you?
-
Mine doesn't chirp, but I will try that.
-
Cheers!
let me know!
-
Did you try it Martz?
-
I need to buy a new remote. Mine works but has no case. I will when I get a replacement.
-
Cheers!
PM me when you ;)
-
A Clifford won't chirp if your backup siren battery has gone flat I know my concept 300 needs a new battery u can replace them but it's a bit of a P.I.T.A usually fail after a few years but they are really good alrms.
-
That could explain it!
The only time it has chirped is when i have disconnected or reconnected the battery!
Where is the battery? in the siren housing? and how do you replace it and from where?
Cheers
-
yeah just whip your siren out ;) and unscrew the four screws in the back but beware if it's not fubared it'll go off and they're feckin loud when your unscrewing them! battery is like a cordless phone batt in those iirc. RS, Farnell, Maplin etc. should have them in stock.
-
Cheers, i'll have a look :)
-
Righty! Got a replacement Keyfob, cheers Slick those guys are honest and fair. He sold me a secondhand case for my remote instead od charging me £70 for a new Clifford one!
I am gonna have a play with the alarm later. The guy told me how to do it, but the look on my face must have said it all!
I said I have a manual and will go from there. Will let you know how I get on.
By the way when I said it was a Concept 50 he replied Comeback 50 as thats what they do. The early ones were not too reliable! Oh well, if it plays up, I shall invest in a new one!
-
Nice one! let me know!
-
Well had a look......................................
And I ain't got a fecking clue! :undecided:
Too confusing if you ask me!
-
I know, it is confusing at first :) keep doing it a few times and it's like you have always done it :)
-
I will do it when I have'nt got anything to do. Guess it needs patience then!
-
Yeah patiences is the key
-
I was on my to work this morning and the alarm started to sound off? Whats that all about then? :undecided:
-
I have no idea?
Only problem i had was with the sensor that was in the center console by the gear stick, i disconnected it and it's fine now!
