has anyone fitted these pulleys are they any good

to be honest mate you wont notice the difference. You'll only free up a few more horse power, I think 8-10 is being a bit ambitious. I could understand if you already had a heavily modded engine and you needed 2 more bhp to get to 300 or something. I'd always be paranoid they were going to shatter too.

Yup and that extra 70 quid on these would of nearly gotten you FK Highsports coils instead of the FK budgets  :wink:

No idea on a golf but on my primera previous  car i had light weight pulley set and it was a very noticable difference.

Tbh mate engine pulleys dont weigh tht much these days the crank pulley is the one that weighs a bit

the crank pulley is included in this kit m8

I suppose the less weight the pulleys are on the engine the less strain i doubt youll get much power from it i suppose if you lightened flywheel and have pulleys then it should go up the revs faster

already have lightened flywheel will look for better ones can't find any but

A couple of years ago, there was something posted on this forum that showed why vernier pulleys on a 1.8t was a very bad idea.

Can't remember who, why or when, but it's something that stuck in my mind as a no go.

Googling may find you a reason.
