Post by: Kelvin1977 on 09 April 2013, 19:01
Ok people thinking of putting a mk5 steering wheel on my mk4 from what I have seen they fit on, but what about the airbag ? Also can the ones with the controls on be fitted and fully working ? Thanks in advance

Bolt on fitment, airbag you need to mod the horn/airbag wiring slightly, search for guide.

MFSW controls, I have a plan to tackle this at some point and have it all working over CANBUS, came up with a couple of ideas and I haven't seen it done before.

It's an easy enough swap, it's just the cost of the wheel that's the problem
