Hi guys I'm debating wether to put audi tt 225 injecters into my 1.8t aum!!Does any1 no if I can??if so is there much power feeling?much love
-
Yep straight fit . I had them in mine . worth replacing the injector seals while you have the injectors out hth
-
Thank you!is there any power difference?
-
Yes a lot more power to be had with remapping bigger turbos etc . you can't just stick them in and expect them to work tho
-
Will need mapping in.
Whats wrong with your current ones? Good for 270?
-
Nothing's wrong with them but I'm pushing 286 so I wanted more power!!
-
spec?

Im interested on where you got that figure from as you would be hard pressed to get that on standard AUM injectors/2.75" maf plus you would be running majorly lean dude. Trust me I used to have an AUM engine with a KO4 on standard injectors for a while....now Im running a KO4 on a stage 2 map, with s3 injectors and im running pushing 281 at last reading.
p.s: if your current injectors are faulty I have a decent set of AUM ones for sale ;)
-
It's all about the money!!garret turbo!!forge pistons!!custom map by Jk!forge intercooler!port polished!!the list gos on!!
-
Your running a garrett on standard injectors, when you had the custom map they would have told you would would have needed new injectors and a bigger fuel pump...
-
Some work was done by my friend before he past away yet I don't no if they were changed!i never said they were standard!!
-
Yeah true you didnt, best thing to do is get a part number. If you pull them out and the code is 06a 906 031 ba then they are standard AUM ones. If you are running all that then I doubt they would be, you would probably at least have TT ones in already.
Get some pics up of the engine bay and the injectors and il tell you straight away

That's the thing I wanted to put pics up on here but don't no how!!
