Noticed yesterday driving home from work a tapping sound coming from the rear of the car right side I think don't know if it's just something cought on the wheel or not but the faster I go the quicker the noise once I'm going fast enough the noise fades abit any advise ?
-
Have you checked to see if there's a nail, screw, stone etc stuck in the tread?
-
Just seen a bloody nail in the rear left tyre but the nail is pushed it quite far but don't think it's coming from there unless tomorrow I take the rear wheel off and have a closer look
-
If tyre is holding pressure fairly well, I would leave it in place and just go to a tyre repairer ASAP.
-
Just been out in the car and think it may be the nail as the noise get faster when I put my foot down I'm going to get a quote tomorrow for 4 new or part worn tyres
-
I never buy part worn, don't know what hidden damage there can be, although tread looks ok. Tyres are all that there is between car and road and I like to know that tyres are good. Have you tried Black Circles website to get an idea of prices? They're usually a good bench mark.

Get New Tread mate There the only thing between you and the road!!!
-
Very true , price on black circle is £215 fitted

Blackcircles is good as you can choose get them fitted at local garage. I got full set for my 4mo supplied and fitted for £190. Budget tyres cant complain tho there pretty good
