Title: mk5 rcd510 install/coding??

 About to install rcd510 with glove box MDI.
 Will a fault code arise? Does the 510 need to be coded?:kiss: cheers for any help

You should just need the security code which ideally came with the head unit.

Thanks  Ive got it installed and working well. DAB reception is not the best as I only have the basic glass mounted antenna.
 Only receiving around 12 dab stations which are clear and don't lose signal strength.
  I did a rescan when out and about and more stations were showing but only for a short time.
 well pleased with the ipod connection. USB and SD cards are poorer quality than the ipod so wont be using them

 Tempted to get a "proper antenna through the roof :smiley:
