My exhaust stinks like eggs i notice it when i get out of my car its probarly the cat not converting the gases proparly should i replace the cat or is there a simple fix like red ex

before you spend lots of money first check if anything got under the car.... e.g. plastic bag stuck on exhaust or so on....
if there's nothing did you fill it with old fuel? could have high sulphur....
if that's not it then get the emissions tested in a garage.... if they are out then cat is likely....

Where do you buy your petrol from and what brand do you use. I used to think that there was no difference, but have found that some of the supermarkets and even Esso fuels can smell of rotten eggs, it might be worth a try !
