Title: Hello everyone! Sam from Wales!
Post by: Samuel Gardner on 04 April 2013, 21:35
Hi all! I just joined this forum today as I'm looking on buying gti 8v mk3! To what I've heard they are really good cars to have! I do prefer the mk3's to the others as I think it has more character! Also the gti's will hold there price value!
One of my mates had the mk3 VR6 and really liked it so that's why I'm looking on getting gti as I'm only 21 and won't be able to afford the inserance on the VR6!
Is there any common problems I need to look out for with the gti? Any info will be much appreciated!
Well hope to talk to you guys and see your mk3's and the work you lot have done on them!

Kind regards
Sam

Hey guys! Thanks for the reply's! Well you lot might laugh at this but I be useing the car for work, I'm a window cleaner so I be sticking a roof rack on top witch will not look the best but as I'm short on money I can't afford to have another car! I will be keeping the car as clean as I can so hopefully you guys will still like it despite the roof rack lol!! A bit lame I know but I heard they are really good cars and plus I be using the car for every day use to! I will keep you posted on when I find one!!

Still looking for GTI,s just a question...a lot of the cars I'm seeing has done well over 120000 miles, having a job to find one around 80000-100000! I was trying to find one on low mileage but does that really matter if the car as been well looked after? I know that there are loads of spare parts for the GTI's you can get for good prices if something did go wrong!
