As above where can i get -60mm springs from and is this a gd idea?!

yes its a good idea! low cars rule! (mine is 100mm lower) :wink:

it may be a pain in the arse if you have driveways, multi storey carparks, road humps etc on your daily drive but every now and then is no big deal. you can get them from loads of places. venom, performance solutions, g-max etc, buy a vw/golf related magazine and look in the adverts.

i got my 60mm springs from ebay for £24 bargain

with a 60mm drop u can get away with 16's on and it looks the bollox :evil:

it'd be better off getting shorter dampers as well. again you can buy a kit from venom, they come with all the bits you need. i think they are called vipertech? drop kits.

its up2 u matey, depends what budget your on, im on a small one so 24quid will do me,

but if your posh :grin: like gtijoe and you can afford to get the better ones,

iv got a set of 80mm koni adjustables coming my way soon, obviosuly at the right price :wink:
