Title: Oil all in my air filter/carb (video inside)
Post by: search on 31 March 2013, 18:56
any idea why this is happening when i have the breather to the air housing it just spills out oil all in to my filter and carb. I put a breather filter on to help stop the mess but as you can tell in the video its just bubbling oil everywhere.

Just done a oil change and that didn't help.

worn piston rings? hard to say could be blocked oilways on the block pushing oil back to the head creating pressure plus only one way out TBF?

breather assembly on the block may be in need of cleaning out.

no smoke out the back, think I'm going to stop chucking money at the car now its been problem after problem since I've got it..

I replaced the breather pipe from rocker cover to crank cleaned the breather pipes still this. I did a service electrical and fluids, I've got an exhaust system on the way along with lots ofther bits n bobs I've done along the way an engine conversion is out the question I'm afraid.
