Good stuff :afro:

What power is it running now then? Can't really be at stage 2 on a KO3 :undecided:

Supposedly it's 200bhp but doesn't feel that quick as I'm used to lots of torque in the vr6

Yeah ko3 will be right on its limit at 200bhp, they normally make 180-190. Either way it's 'stage 1', get a Ko3s whacked on and it'll feel better

Whichever one you get make sure it's a genuine one...there are a lot of cheap chinese copies around which make crap power

So previous owners mechanic bodged a flexi hose with a metal washer instead of copper making the brakes fail, and kwik fit are lying thingys for saying I needed rear pads and discs, my mechanic had a look after I've bought the bits and said the pads and discs are fine but told him to change them anyway as it was in the air and saves a job in the future

Not much to report, both subs have gone, starter motor still squealing at me to be replaced, battery died on holiday with no jump leads, and airbag light has came on so going to get it plugged in to see what's what, ticked over 146k miles

Haven't had much money to splash on the old girl after booking a holiday to lanzarote with the mrs (first time abroad, woohoo), bought some jom coilovers from tdi_blu (top bloke), also bought some headlights whilst I was there as mine were worse for wear, also a few other treats and my dad had some bits for his mk3 so all around a good day!
Car has had a problem past few days of cutting out and not starting, put it down to either fuel pump, fuel pump relay or crank sensor, so I've order a walbro 225 fuel pump and the other parts to go with it so hopefully have a running car in a few days and have my two front tyres replaced with my 2 for £15 new tyre specials

Had new tyres fitted, definitely need to fit the coilovers as it looks like a land rover

She's off the road again, changed fuel pump relay and was working fine, went to get in the car, started fine but cut out 20 seconds later, took battery off for 15 seconds then but back on again, now ticking from relay fuse board so possibly blown the relay, will be riding to work for the week now on my bike I found in the shed with the worst seat ever, an hour ride had killed me

Had it plugged in, little or no fuel to injectors, and fuel pump doesn't sound like its priming anymore, so going to replace the fuel pump when I can source one

I'll be replacing mine with an S3 pump in the next week or so, PM me if you're interested in mine

Finally after working on it all day after work, she finally runs, bodged wires in places I didn't know existed from a previous owner, and I'm thinking of selling up and possibly going back to a mk2 or a vr6 if I find a decent example

Well she has gone to a new owner, waiting to save a few pennies and find a nice mk2 shell and stick it in the garage as a project, but for now, I have a mondeo st24
