One that likes being kept in a concrete and mud yard with its own sh!t for comfort.........
Ideal conditions for a mentally stable pet.

I would say Staff/Boxer with maybe a bit of ridge back, dorsal hair plat can be a bit of a red herring  :undecided:

Yeah it's next door's dog and there's three of them. They managed to smash through the fence which is VERY worrying as I have an 18 month and now I'm concerned about how safe it is for him to play in his own garden

if you have any worry the dogs would bite then sort the fence so they cant get through or over it as they will jump a 6ft fence if they want to

That is worrying mate, especially considering recent events. Please try and remember its not the dogs fault though, how we'll do you get on with ya neighbour, could you not just sort it between you? Failing that then its a reportable offence.

Dog owners should have licences. No licence. No dog.
Dogs should be for two things. Working and companionship.

I have a cavalier King Charles spaniel and sh!t myself when's she's off the lead and see sonething like that. Iv only bad experiences.

The killing of that poor girl last week would never if happened with a properly regulated breeding and buying system.

The licence is more for the owners. Iv met a Doberman who is soft as peas.
Unfortunately you get a bad connotation.

Your garden is going to smell lovely in the summer,on a more serious note if there are three dogs like that running around next door and they have already come through your fence please dont let your children play alone out there.

I'm no expert but just looks like your standard council house staff to me

Saying that - its on the large side for a staff

It has the body and colouring of a Dogue De Bordeaux

Bad dogs ain't born their bread. Id screw a 4x1 timber accross the bottom around 600mm up the fence horizontally, then another at 1200mm as it would spread any stress a dog would put running into it accross all the timbers. Only use 1 1/4 screws tho as you don't wanna come thru and risk them catching the dog

Looks like an american bulldog cross, maybe a bit of staffy in there.

Have you spoken to your neighbours about sorting the fence out?

If you have concerns about the dogs behaviour or welfare you'll need to try the RSPCA I think.

There are no such thing as 'safe/good' breeds and 'dangerous/bad' breeds. However of course different breeds of dog ARE different in their strengths, temperaments and behaviours and do require different handling, that needs to be recognised and catered for properly.
