Very unhappy with my aum tip from creation motorsport. In general very bad fit the advantage of bigger pipe was annoying as you have to push it tgrough a small gap causing it to crush slightly.but now today found due to its odd layout it pushs on a metal pipe which in less than few months has cut a hole through it!!! Now im sure most people will say no issue so manybe it a dodgy mould or summit but lets hope there custom service is good as im not happy at all wish id got the forge one now
-
I too found it very hard to install but the pipe that it pushes against when i undone the the bolt to lossen up the metal pipe i didnt put the bolt back in so i hope mine dont develop a hole
-
did you take pics of which pipe and where hole develops?
-
I did ill upload on sunday
-
ok cool
-
I have heard you have to trim a cm or so on the turbo end
-
the culprit pipe

yes ive twisted the hos clip and the pipe still rests and rubs on it !
-
So was it the hose clamp that caused the hole? Abit confused
-
ye it the hose clamp at first but even with it twisted or swapped to a jubiliee it TIP pushes right against is and we all know what shaffing does :)
-
like say it could just be due to my set up im just annoyed at it lol
-
i'd be pissed off lol
-
i am lol it just annoys me how they promote these things as perfec tfit etc. abit like mine been a AUM but i still need to bodge up and seal a breather with a bolt why not make the right one for a AUM without it! and the nipple near the bottom had nothing holding it in so as we pushed bottom pipe on the nipple fell into the TIP
-
I got mine from them, mine is also an AUM and part from the coolent pipe being in the way and taking me about an hour getting it on it was a good setup, i didnt have to block anything up at all :undecided:

this gets better. i had to block a pipe that came off right near the maf join. it knock on a metal valve next to the head of engine
-
I think it is the setup like you said earlier, I noticed you still have the hardlines and the combi valve in, in all honesty, doing the SAI delete was one of the best mods I ever did, and frees up a load of room in the engine bay and will stop any further pipes rubbing on the TIP

The joys of modding ,i left mine standard and have not had any problems.

You have an AGU. You wouldn't understand
