Title: Delay in fast pick up?
Post by: wayedy on 29 March 2013, 03:40
Hi, as most of you know i have a 8v golf mk3,
Its actually the first time i gave my car some good boot as i was coming back home from work, and there was a slight split second delay after gear changes like it hold back then carry on goin,
Is this normal or clutch on its way out? Or does it need service?
The hold back is very noticeable.

Check your throttle cable on the throttle body. Could be loose. Just need to adjust the clip on the cable on the body
