Title: Restoration Car
Post by: Winniee on 29 March 2013, 02:02
Being an MR2 club member aswell thought I would show you all my other little project (Very slow moving project).

It's a '86 Twin Cam AW11 MK1a MR2. Not quite sure how much slate I'll be getting but I love the thing. Was considering selling it and moving on but I'm not sure if I can

My first plan is to restore it, got some Pepperpot (Teardrop) wheels for her just not bothered fitting them yet.

Has a few things need doing mechanical wise:

New disks and pads all round (Pistons un-seizing)
Rear ball joints
Track rod ends

All in will probably cost about £150 to get it MOT' (If I do the work myself)

But yeah, here she is :)

Mk1 mr2s are pretty cool, the mk1 supercharged version would have been a hoot back in the day
