Title: 16v Brake fluid capacity.

Hi, i am looking to find out how much brake fluid my mk2 16v holds as i will be bleeding whole system this week ..

Neither the Haynes or the Bentley can tell me, anyone else out there know? :sad:

how muck brake fluid you need depends on how well you bleed your brakes and how much air in the system their is. Normally a small bottle does the trick but if you are unsure on what you are doing then maybe get 2 bottles(check the owners manual but I think dot4) just to be on the safe side

Never use dot 5 silicon fluid in any car as it is proven to be dangerous think they've stopped selling it now in fact but I have heard and read of many bad things :( dot 4 is good enough, I would also recommend an Eezibleed or similar as these things make life so much easier. 1 bottle changed mine when using it get 2 though! squirt WD40 on the bleed nipples a few days before 2 dude
