Title: Alpine CHM-S630 multi changer - is it compatible?

Hi,
I've just purchased an old 7292LS Alpine cassette player and need to buy a compatible cd changer. I've seen one on a selling site and know from reading forums that they work. The cd changer is a CHM-S630 mbus, however it has an interface (BRLA2) for a BMW which the seller says is a 10pin plug and the one I need is 8pin, is it just a matter of unplugging this interface to reveal the 8pin plug or can I not use this changer? Your response would be greatly appreciated?
