Title: A couple of quick ones.....

I smashed a headlight when a car in front flicked a stone up. I went straight on eBay to source a replacement, unfortunately I have bought one without a fog. Can I some how modify to accept a fog light from my smashed light?

Second question, I think my passenger side wheel bearing is on it's way out. Is it a straight forward fix?

try swap the glass over  :smiley:

You'll not be able to split a standard headlight (believe me - I tried and failed).  That how-to thread was on a Depo unit which are put together differently.  Get yourself back on ebay or down the breakers bud.
