Title: Braided hoses
Post by: km on 27 March 2013, 19:38
Can anyone give me information regarding the rear braided hoses? I've just had my rear hoses changed. Should it go from the caliper?
like the below..

Because it seems the hose from caliper is the original, then it goes to the solid thin pipe --> braided --> back to solid thin pipe.

And I read somewhere that apparently the rear lines are reinforced?

the solid thin pipe is proberbly were the old pipe has perrished.

easier to replace a foot of pipe than re-route a whole hose

I've had solid pipe re routed from the front of the car to the rear. But in other words, should the braided hose come straight off the caliper rather than in between the solid pipes?
