Hi I'm going to be fitting a catch can (finally) when the British weather gets milder.
What's the most common catch can people go for as I want to keep it simple & look OEM ?
Cheers.
-
I used a Saikou Mich on mine they are a really good catch can tbh
-
got the same can
looks OEM and has the correct size (19mm) ports
-
why exactly do the ports have to be 19mm out of interest?
-
All the piping is 19mm, I went for an ebay square black one and got some adapters made, cost all in (piping etc) less than the Michi alone
-
Where can I buy a Saikou Mich catch can? Cheers.
-
How much are the adapters if I get an eBay catch can?
-
Here's my current setup ..this was an eBay one. checked after 10000miles and here's what I found....

I really dont think you need that metal scourer in there my man.
It's not really separating anything and it looks like your returning back to the TIP. Wouldn't fancy any of that making its way to the turbo.
-
The type of can I hav isn't baffled hence the reason why stainless steel scourers help slow down air speed (allowing the oil vapor time to drop from the air)....what do others who hav catch cans use ?
-
I just vent to atmosphere. It's naughty I know.
I'm sure it doesn't work like that. You need one pipe that actually goes in to the bottom of the can.
Then the intake can suck through the scourer.
But I would honestly take it out, block the TIP and vent it under the car. That way you can be sure nothing's getting back in to the intake.
