Title: ECU MEGASQUIRT?
Post by: wayedy on 27 March 2013, 13:41: Hi, i know we cant remap the standard ecu for the gti 8v, but is it possible to run a megasquirt ecu with custom map so we can see better performance gains?

P.S you cna however get chips from ebay which you solder in. Not tried it myself. But there are available. :wink:

Same and I've cammed my 8v too. Can stay on the back of a 16v if you get in its tow

which cams are the best for the 8 valver? kent, piper ??? or any other and what bhp and torque figures did u get?
