Last night on way back from gym i,ve picked up a annoying squeak when going over bumps a loud annoying squeak.
Car dosnt look any lower on ether side, had a look last night but was raining and windy so didn't look for long, and could not see a broken springs etc driven it to work today the sounds there when going over small bumps mainly and seams a little more bouncy.
Think one or both front shocks are gone, dose this sound about right?
is there anything else which could couse this ? or dose it sound like its the shocks?
Been out on my lunch and been bouncing the car see if can get it to squeak, when wheel was turned i couldn't make it squeak and if wheels were turned i could !
shocks look ok to me :-

Could it be the top mounts? or wishbone bushes?
Any help would be great as my car in the last two days has made me want to burn it out lol

Checked springs rustie but no snaped or damaged.
Could it be a top mount or wishbone bush making the sound as they all need replacing
-
replace the dust cover.... spring also does not look the best anymore, you sure there isn't a bit broken off the ends?

 no defo outside car towards the front pass side

just a thought cos my recaro squeaks sometimes over bumps , and hearing noises in the cabin can make you think they are coming from somewhere else cos of the way the sound reflects

try lubricating the rubber bushes in the wishbone and arb. Dry bushes are known to squeak. may not help, but not gonna cost anything

Mate i had the same thing recently and i'd put money on it it is your bottom/lower ball joint, the rubber has split and the joint has gone dry.Cheap to buy and easyish to do on stands.
