Title: under bonnet fibre stuff
Post by: Dalo Harkin on 26 March 2013, 20:09
I would like to remove this, but surely the bonnet would get hotter without it there and don't want the paint to get affected ( outside before anyone comments )

Options? Preferably without using the fast and furious reflective tin foil type stuff

I took mine off mate as it reduces under bonnet temps. No issue with paint at all

had it off for almost 3 years, not noticed any problems with paint although only wash it once a year so not likely to notice

I removed mine. I think the only time it would do anything good is in winter. Sometimes I wish it was there to drown out the rattle of my diesel engine!  :embarrassed:
