I'm assuming you're swapping the headlight loom section that runs along the top of the radiator / slam panel? It's quiet literally a case of twisting the big round connector block out and unclipping the wiring from it's metal retainers.
What are you stuck on exactly?

Didnt all the gtis have fogs on them? It not hard.
Main 2 things you need is the front and rear fog headlight switch and loom. As said above. If you look inside of your engine bay by the rad there will be a big round block with wires. You just twist the plug and it co.e apart then you disconnect all the llugs that goes to the headlights indicators and horn and i think outside air temp. Fitti g is reversal and you will have 2 extra plugs (fog lights) after fitting check everything.

No,  not all GTI's came equipped with front fog lights.  IIRC it was an optional extra on pre 96 mk3's.

you don't need the fog wiring loom.... can make it yourself.
all you need is a spade connector, wires, the two connectors for the fogs and of course the light switch.

pin 5 on the round connector is for fogs, gnd is not difficult to come by .... just go straight for battery terminal
