Title: need Help fast !!!

Just got call from brother in-law he has mk4 and bat has gone flat been out to give him jump start only to find we cant open the bonnet fells like the cable has snapped being a mk3 owner dont really know anything about the mk4 is there any way we can get the bonnet open to jump start the car and then close the bonnet again with no damage ??????


any help would be good

Pull the vw badge out of the grill and see if you can get at the latch with a screwdriver

You either need to get underneath and try and get your hand/something to where the catch is or snap the grill  :sick:
