I am needing to change a couple of tryes (due to having big pile of shi7e ditch finders fitted) and I am wondering if I should down size to 195/45x16 or maybe 205's
Current size is 215/40x16 and I also want to space the wheels a bit and keeping the o.e size means rubbing or arch rolling (both of which I don't want!) and I didn't need my arches touching on my old low mk3 as I went for slimmer/squarer walled tyres
Does anyone have a pic of 195/45's fitted with or without spacers?

I'd stay original mate. When I bought my 16" Team Dynamics I had the choice of 215, 205 and 195, and 215 I think was just a better choice in the end. After all, it's a bigger footprint on the tarmac.

Not anni wheels but 6.5 rx 195 45 25mm spacers front and 20mm back

Not everyone drives to the limit of grip
Moving to 45 won't do any favours
A 205/40 tyre will give more room than a 195/45 tyre

I run 205/45/16 on 7j BBS RX rims with the suspension down about 40mm and theyve never once rubbed.
