Title: electric mirror

just replaced the glass on my drivers side mirror an noticed that when the adjuster on the door is set for the right mirror it adjust both left an right and when set to adjust left it only adjust the left an then when sat in the middle it doesnt adjust anything which it correct. any ideas why? http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/Smileys/modern/cheesy.gif

Edit. My mistake I didn't read this properly before at all. This is normal. If you have heated mirrors they will also not work unless it is set on '0'.
