E is the current version

Can get E for about 35 new. Do you thnk worth replacing? Due to milage. Any advantage E over F

That's cheap

I have a 2001 AUM and I suspect my N75 is iffy. Is there a way to check it before I purchase? I don't want to waste £38.99

Wazzer what about the F version, Is that before or after the E version?
I thought F has superceeded the E?

I'm about to buy a new one so would love know the answer, Cheers

yer youd expect that the F be the newer type not e....
-
E defiently is the newer version, odd use of the alphabet
-
So any change in the E over F? Worth replacing as it 10 year old
-
No one has answered in terms of how you know if it needs replacing, I would like to know this too obviously providing no fault code etc how long should they last for and are there any benefits replacing to a newer version
-
This is it. I know J valve has very mixed views

i think its logging in vag com group 118 to check if its faulty something to with the cycle percentage but im not exactly sure on what to look for in it lol
-
Does anybody know how I can test this before shelling out on a new one?
-
Looks like no one knows lol :-(
-
Gutted too... wanted to see if mine was up to the job, don't think it's ever been changed
-
Read sumthing about blowing into the tip side to see if any air passes through if so its fecked! It operates like a one way check valve but electronically, so this kind of makes sense!! :undecided:
-
Yes one pipe should be blocked and the other two you should be able to blow through
-
to put it another way then, what would be the characteristics of a faulty N75
-
Just ordered mine, new E type valve. Will get my head around it and see if I can work out how we can test these little buggers!
