right guys still on look out for golf gti but been doing a bit off research and come across there is two tax bands for the golf gti does anyoone no what year they cross over on and what is the difference or is it just rubbish cheers Gordon
-
There probably will be.. There's a 1.8 gti, the none turbo one, an there's a 2.0 one
So there should be 2 tax bands, the 1.8t also classes as a GTI too so make it 3.

Just to confirm the GTI only has one Tax band (although the price went up this year! £250 compared to £235 I paid last year).
The MK5 R32 has 2 bands, earlier ones being lower (off topic I know but just for info).
EDIT:
Actually it was £245 last year. And pretty sure it was lower the year before.

Mine runs out end of this month. 250 quid for the year.
