Could I get some advice about a Golf GTi please. It's a 2006 Anniversary model with 57,300 miles covered.I've told the cam belt should be changed? Is this correct?Anyone got an authoritative view on the subject?

I 'think' it's due at 60k or 5 years on the petrol...does it say in your service schedule manual...it should do

Thankyou for the reply.I shall check that out.

get it done a s a p for the sake of 350-400 quid better than a new engine if it snaps

And I got my old reflex silver one done at the point of sale as the hand book says 45,000

The concensus of opinion seems to be replacement at 60,000 miles or four years.Since the vehicle is up for sale soon it shall be done before that.Anyone interested in purchasing said Golf GTi please make your interest known to me.
