A fortnight ago, i scraped the underneath of my MK3, Got out to look and all looked fine, Next day jacked car up to have a look at it properly. Well one of the bung at the rear had lost itself, I presume when i scraped it. So i decided to get it welded as thats what most of us do :smug:
Anyway dropped car of at local welders place, After taking out rear seats/carpet. We decided to get all of them welded to save time/hassle in the future.
So plan is, when i get it back (Tomorrow) going to seam sealer it inside and underseal/waxoil the outside.

Sweet. How much is it costing you?

But i always end up paying him more.

sounds good, when u say seem seal and oil wax it, dya mean inside or out? coz im having the same kinda problem, the owner before me must of scrapped the bottom of the car, and now i have to rust patches, so i need get them welded, i also have the aged old problem of wet mats front and back so would sealing it and oil/wax solve this to?
