I have owned my MK4 1.8T since December and the interior fan has been very temperamental. Sometimes it will work sometimes it wont. While im driving it will work for say 5 minutes and then you will hear the fan slow down and eventually stop even though the switch is set to 4.
I have replaced the resistor but still no joy. I think i am going to change the interior fan motor next but before i shell out £20 for the motor does anyone else know what could be causing this?
Also, the light behind when the fan doesn't work at all? Ive changed the bulb but still nothing
Need this sorted as its freezing driving with no heating on :undecided:

Switch is not playing up is it. If not
Your motor properly knackered

I have tried a different switch and that done the exact same thing. Will changing the motor have anything to do with the light behind the switch working?
