Occasionally when I break gently my breaks will squeeking abit but if I break hard there's no squeeking anyone know why this may be
-
Try putting some copper grease on the back of the pads that will stop the squeak
-
Great thanks a lot appreciate it
-
Prob a silly question but how do I apply copper greasy to the break pads sorry I have no knoledge about cars
-
easiest to youtube it mate. long to explain
-
Jack car up, wheel off, undo caliper bolts, carefully remove caliper making sure you don't kink the brake line, remove pads from caliper, apply copper grease to rear of pads. To refit to the reverse.
It's worth noting that you'll probably need a piston rewind tool if you're going to do the rears.
