My car has been out of action for a while as I have been trying to figure out where a squealing noise was coming from.... turns out the worlds smallest hole in a silicone joiner was making it under boost... anyhow this has gone away as i've fitted a fmic. However now my car sometimes cuts out on idle and when it does it won't start for about a minute??
I have scanned and i get the same codes everytime:
18057 - Powertrain Data Bus: Missing Message from ABS Controller
P1649 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
18044 - Powertrain Data Bus: Missing Message from Airbag Controller
P1636 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
18058 - Powertrain Data Bus: Missing Message from Instrument Cluster
P1650 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17947 - Clutch Pedal Switch (F36): Implausible Signal
P1539 - 35-00 - -
17949 - Fuel Pump Relay (J17): Open Circuit
P1541 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17645 - Fuel Injector for Cylinder 1 (N30): Open Circuit
P1237 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17647 - Fuel Injector for Cylinder 3 (N32): Open Circuit
P1239 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17648 - Fuel Injector for Cylinder 4 (N33): Open Circuit
P1240 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17646 - Fuel Injector for Cylinder 2 (N31): Open Circuit
P1238 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17834 - EVAP Purge Valve (N80): Open Circuit
P1426 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17956 - Boost Pressure Regulation Valve (N75): Open Circuit
P1548 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17526 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating: B1 S2: Open Circuit
P1118 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17841 - Secondary Air Pump Relay (J299): Open Circuit
P1433 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17939 - Camshshaft Timing Adjustment: Open Circuit
P1531 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17840 - Secondary Air Injection Solenoid Valve (N112): Open Circuit
P1432 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17695 - Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249): Open Circuit
P1287 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Are these on the same circuit/loom? Any ideas what they could indicate as a potential problem? I'm worried I may have damaged my map sensor when fitting the fmic.....
Any help is greatly appreciated

Well for a start in your Sig it says N249 bypass, do the delete, the bypass is very hit and miss depending on car.
Have you cleared the codes to see what comes back?

thanks for the reply, yeah the same codes every time even when i scan immediately after. So i should fit resistors then instead of bypassing... why is it so it and miss?
cheers

Hi mate, some cars just don't like it when you bypass the N249, I bypassed mine originally and car felt horrendous so just did the delete and was 1000 times better

Cool, thanks man, I've seen a guide which recommends certasin resisters on vw vortex so will do that and hopefully it will be alright. I want to change my fuse box aswell cus the alternator fuse is corroded slighlty and the plastic casing has melted leaving a gap between the fuses

way to revive a thread but just in case it helps people in the future after spending my spare time going over the electrics  I changed the ignition switch on a whim and that cured the random codes!
