Ye the s plate was the last of the mk3 hatchback. That is cheap tho. Defo need to look at the chains on that otherwise body should be ok

You say probably okay, but the number of R-registration rot-boxes you see about I wouldn't be too sure....1 year isn't going to make much of a difference!

Have seen a few R and S plates before, could be a late reg or import.

They were, later ones do seem to rot the best.

There are some T-reg mk3 estates floating about as well as i almost bought one.
