hey guys been a while since i posted but ive put the golf back on the road after insurance was just a b****
ive been driving it around and have noticed im loosing water everyday
having to fill up a whole bottle of coke (water) everyday
and only yesterday i noticed this

any ideas of what im supposed to look for? is it still safe to drive?
its not over heating at any point unless im sitting in traffic and even then it only comes up to optimal temp!
any help much appreciated guys

The hose looks pretty old (the one from the top of the rad), its probably perished slightly and letting water seep out?
Try replacing it with an up-rated hose (Samco if you can find em cheap enough) and some nice new jubilee clips :wink:

Check the radiator where the hose is connected.

start it up on your drive , bonnet closed let it warm up till the electric fan cuts in
switch the motor off, open the bonnet , see where the leak is coming from .
it is at it's hottest , therefore max pressure just be carefull :smiley:
