Title: Just Picked Up A Genuine R32 Front Bumper For £110
Post by: Ashmond on 18 March 2013, 17:31: So the title is a bit misleading, I did pick up a genuine r32 bumper for £110 but it needs work but nothing me and the boys cant do in a couple weekends....the FK one just doesnt look right and before I wrap the car in a fortnight I wanna get this on to make it look proper. Will add some pics of the damage in a minute....already started on it this weekend and got quite far on it!

The first picture makes it look terrible

Not even that bad when I got it home although to the seller I did repeat the phrase "this is facked" more then once :grin:

Started to rub it down but needs time to dry and the garage wasn't the warmest due to the weather so going to do the otherside this weekend along with the missing part going to use the valance bit from drivers side to mould. Also going to remove the lines its completely smooth.

Then prime ready for when the wrap arrives.

300 quid bumper for under half the price just needed some effort. Thought might as well!

Shout out to Lloyds Tsb on the overdraft increase :grin:

Not done yet but il get the finished result pictured with and without the wrap

Looking to wrap it gray....going to the suppliers on the weekend to get samples and see in person :cool:
